Self-esteem is the positive opinion we have of ourselves and the extent to which  we acknowledge and appreciate our own value and worth.

This positive thinking process allows us to feel competent to live our lives effectively whilst enabling us to take responsibility for our choices, actions and decisions. The feeling of well-being that is gained, impacts on every aspect of our daily lives, creating a positive and optimistic outlook. Living with self-belief assists in becoming resilient to cope with everyday challenges.

Our vision as Building Self-esteem, is to impact all South Africans. We are passionate about people’s uniqueness, and our purpose is to help them share it with the world.

Through our unique and creative self-esteem methodologies, we apply our passion and skills to ignite new thinking that will create a healthier, safer, more empowered South Africa.

Building Self-Esteem will be holding the first ever Self-esteem Summit on African soil on Saturday the 22nd of August 2015.

The Summit’s objective is, “Igniting New Thinking”. To inform all teachers, parents and professionals of the vital importance that Self-esteem plays in the emotional development of the children. We intend on developing awareness, skills and knowledge in the area of building and maintaining self-esteem, and to provide practical, creative and accessible tools to facilitate this process.

The Summit will be held at Crawford preparatory school in Fourways, from 8am to 2pm.
